Like the traditional Chilean instrument, this Rainstick is created from a dried cactus. Thorns pressed into the hollow shaft create the sound of rain as pebbles cascade over the them. The Rainstick comes in 5 different lengths, from 14? to 60?. As the sticks get longer, they will produce a louder, more sustained tone.
