This book is about patterns, which are important in math and science. When you recognize patterns or understand how they are structured, it can help you make new discoveries. The Pattern Explorer book has different types of patterns divided into five themes: Pattern Predictor, Equality Explorer, Sequence Sleuth, Number Ninja, and Function Finder. There are 40 sets of activities (8 for each theme) that you can work on. You can do the activities in any order because they are independent and separate, but they get more challenging as you progress. The book also includes hints and solutions to help you. This is a Level 1 book for grades 5-7, and it has 92 pages. You can’t reproduce it for the whole classroom, but it comes in a softcover.
