Here’s a great spring activity that’s just in time for National Poetry Month. Acrostic poems are an easy and fun way to introduce poetry to your students, and they provide great vocabulary practice as well!

Instruct your students to write a creative sentence that starts with each letter in the word ‘spring’. You can even add your vocabulary lesson into the activity by having your students include them in their sentences.
