Description

Vocabulary Virtuoso from the Critical Thinking Company is a helpful tool for students to enhance their vocabulary, improve their language arts skills, and boost their imagination. This program includes important real-life words that students should know and be able to use, which are also frequently found on standardized tests. Each lesson consists of definitions, pronunciation keys, parts of speech, and alternative choices, such as synonyms, idioms, and phrases. Students will work on critical reading and writing skills to better understand and use these words.

Vocabulary Virtuoso Elementary Level teaches 150 vocabulary words and provides information on homonyms, homophones, homographs, hypothesis, key words, antonyms, hyperbole, fables, myths, folk tales, essay writing, and speech writing.
